From Brief to First Cut
Start with four things: who the film is for, what it should say, where it will appear, and what must be accurate. That is more useful than asking for something cinematic.
Bring the source material
A software film can start with your product URL. An ad may start with product photos. A trailer may start with footage, stills, and story beats. Add a reference if it helps explain the tone.
Choose the story
Pick one thing the viewer should remember. Open with it, show enough to make it credible, and leave before the point gets repeated. The taste engine helps choose shots against that story.
Review the cut
Watch at phone size. Check names, claims, product details, and the first frame. If something misses, ask for a specific change: show the product sooner, hold a reveal longer, or drop a shot.
A strong first cut in one pass is the goal. Your review makes it ready to publish.
