How We Made the Alfred Launch Film
A short site capture, brand references, and one detailed review shaped a 33-second film about moving money across Latin America.
From brief to final cut.
Let the company explain itself first
Our opening brief linked Alfred's website and X account and asked Ghostmotion to review the site before drafting a kinetic, roughly 30-second launch film. We wanted its product language and brand treatment to come from those sources rather than from a script we wrote in advance.
Capture only the useful pages
We scrolled the homepage, clicked through its feature tabs, and opened the Solutions, Coverage, and About pages. This gave Ghostmotion a compact set of visual and messaging references. The capture was about a minute long, enough to cover the material we wanted the film to draw on.
Build the cut around the track
We uploaded “Did It First” from its start. The first version already had the broad story, so the review focused on how quickly its ideas could be understood on screen rather than replacing the whole film.
Send one timecoded polish pass
We asked for the three opening pain points to be visibly crossed out, corrected the spacing in the Latin America tagline, and identified the product section from about 12.4 to 18.6 seconds as hard to read. We also proposed showing code typed in a terminal or editor and removing the investors segment. Giving a direction without prescribing every frame left room for a cleaner solution.
Three frames. One story.

Make the next cut better.
- Review the company's own language before deciding what the film should say.
- Use timecodes to locate a weak section and describe the reading problem it creates.
- Group related polish notes into one clear revision request when the overall cut already works.
