How We Made the OyaChat Launch Film
A 34-second film built from a real chat-led journey, then tightened by cutting the scenes the story no longer needed.
From brief to final cut.
Record a complete user journey
We signed in, asked the chat how to add funds, checked the portfolio, researched trending memecoins, confirmed a purchase through the chat, and checked the portfolio again. The recording supplied real interface states and enough context to understand the task from start to finish.
Describe the story, not the click order
Our capture was about eight minutes long and its order was not a ready-made script. We told Ghostmotion it could rearrange the flow to make the idea clearer: a person can research and act through a conversation. That direction let the film focus on the experience rather than replaying every click.
Cue the hook before the drop
We uploaded “EVERYBODY” and chose a start around 48 seconds into the song, at the words “am I.” The short vocal hook gives viewers a moment to enter the story before the drop. The edit's scenes and words were then paced around that cue.
Remove the middle that slows the ending
After the first version, we needed only one revision. We asked Ghostmotion to go from the section showing what Oya can do straight to the end card, removing the scenes between them. The shorter cut made the core idea easier to remember and gave the ending a cleaner arrival.
Three frames. One story.

Make the next cut better.
- Capture the beginning and outcome of a task, even when the recording includes extra exploration.
- Give the editor a narrative priority instead of insisting on the exact click sequence.
- When the point has landed, cut the intervening scenes rather than repeating it.
